2022 The Year of The Lovers
Love, Relationships, Choices, Harmony

In 2022, the Universe will be asking us to take everything we have learned, Individually and collectively, over the past two unsettling and uncertain years and start the healing and rebuilding as we try to find and establish new ways of being and moving forward. To have a new vision for the future which will require shedding old ideals, beliefs and ways of thinking and doing so together we can start creating a new version of ourselves and our world.

The Tarot Card of the Year for 2022 is

The Lovers

The sixth card of a Tarot deck is The Lovers.

This card provides us with insights into the energy of the year in general, and some of the upcoming challenges, opportunities, and external circumstances that impact us individually and collectively. 2022 will be a year of strengthening bonds and balancing the needs of others with the needs of self. Examine any and all relationships in your life – romantic, family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, community, professional and even casual – and make major decisions and choices about them. Some you will want to leave as is, some you will want to improve, some will grow deeper and stronger, while others will be let go. And some healthy romantic relationships will become stronger and move to the next level.
Others will find themselves reconnecting with family members, starting a family or even moving back in with or be near family. Redefine and reframe what family means and looks like to and for you, and how to embrace that. Family becomes part of your foundation through life. For me, family includes all the people in my life who love and support me unconditionally. And home, wherever or however it may be, will become even more important to be the center and heart of where you feel you belong and will become a symbol for emotional security for each of us.
This will be a year to reset, reevaluate, transform, which will require an open mind, hard work, dedication, and commitment. Start taking steps to figure out what you care about, your personal belief systems and values, what you stand for, and what you want your life to be about. Making time to do some soul searching could find you on an emotional rollercoaster; but this is the Universe pointing you to the areas of your life that need integration and realigning that will form a foundation to guide you in making better decisions this year and in future.
This will be a time to find balance between logic and intuition, personal truths and collective truths, learning and knowing. Throughout the year, difficult and critical decisions or choices will have to be made in many areas of your life where you will find yourself pitting mind against heart. Know your heart and then listen to it. Make the brave, heartfelt choices. Go with the balanced and compassionate choices with the intent of fostering unity and harmony in your life.
It will be a unifying year.
To integrate, realign and reinvent areas of your life where you need it the most
To act from love and kindness instead of fear and anger
To find and bring compromise to different sides in order to find common ground
To see things from a broader perspective
Of open and honest communication
Of self-reflection, forgiving yourself and loving who you are
Of showing others respect.
About acts of kindness, tolerance and generosity.
Of engaging in charitable acts.
Acknowledge the lessons of the past, look forward to the new possibilities that lie ahead. The changes you, and we, desire, starts with each one of us. Adjust your expectations based on what you are willing to put in. The new vision requires each of us to step up and put the kind of energy you would like to receive out into the world. A tempered middle path, coupled with consideration to others and our planet, are key to making the most of this year. We are in this together and it is time to unite from a place of compassion and wisdom.
2022 will be a year to build trust with ourselves, those around us, and the world, and with a renewed sense of hope and a feeling of togetherness to create a better tomorrow that will take you, us, and the world into the future with hope and love.
