July’s New Moon is a good time to pause and consider the direction of your life. This lunation is asking you to embrace your inner child, to remember who you were and who you said you wanted to be before the world told you differently or life experiences served up doses of reality. It is an excellent time for formulating new goals regarding ways to enhance your romantic life, creative endeavors, hobbies, and relationship with children, as well as building your self-confidence.

At this time, there are several planetary influences including Mars, Uranus, Jupiter. With the astrological configurations, there is an enormous push for change, but there is also an enormous resistance to change. With Jupiter, you can find it natural to want to grow, improve, and move into the direction of positive change. Tap into the energies of this optimistic Jupiter trine to readily access the confidence and faith needed to rise above any issues that may crop up over the next month. You can also grow in your understanding of life's meaning by looking back over your life and see where you were actually very fortunate, even though you didn’t realize it at the time. It might give you a different perspective of self-understanding.

Mars is heading toward an alignment with Uranus, making you feel especially innovative, ready to try new methods and approaches. Reflect, then determine where you need to make adjustments to your values, beliefs and goals. Hyperfocus on what you desire and then boldly set new intentions for what you want to see in your life.

Remaining flexible, open-minded and adaptable will be the key to helping you take advantage of rapidly changing conditions where there will be opportunities for growth, prosperity and happiness. On the positive side, you have an increased ability to view things from a different perspective, which can lead to original ideas and creative breakthroughs, chance encounters, new friendships and alliances.

On the other hand, with Uranus in this mix, and Mercury clashing with Uranus, this could bring some challenging times with unfortunate surprises and unexpected revelations, events or news - welcomed by some, unwelcomed by others – which may force you to change plans that ultimately will spark new beginnings. Miscommunications and misunderstandings caused by rushed thinking, spontaneous decisions, confusion and agreeing to things under pressure, could lead to making mistakes, saying the wrong thing or offending others, all which could lead to serious disagreements. Emotions could run deep; and at times you may have to remove yourself physically and energetically from a situation so that you can more objectively observe as to what has transpired and make a more reasoned decision about how to respond without defensiveness. Be prepared for the unexpected. The more you accept that frustrations and setbacks are part of the journey the sooner you will begin to see progress.

Uranus is about awakening, change and authenticity. Its role is to energize sudden events that awaken you to potentials that you have not been aware of and to liberate you from old habits that have outlived their use or need. While it wants you to change your perspective, the goal is to support your efforts to discover and embrace your authenticity to help you come to the realization that you need to live your life in a different way while being true to yourself.

The more resistant and stubborn you are trying to hold on to beliefs, habits and even people that no longer serve you, the more powerful and shocking Uranus events can be that will shake up your foundations and security. Something must fall away to make space for something else. Everything comes to an end so that there is room for a new beginning.

Let go of the mistakes you have made in the past and use them as lessons you’ve learned so you can move forward with your plans to have a better future. Be open to new possibilities and insights for the next chapter of your life while patiently taking the time to consider what you truly value and what you want in life. You might discover that doing some things differently might feel like a breath of fresh air and can open your eyes to things you may not have considered.

Whatever seeds you plant under this energy will flourish and bloom abundantly thanks to Jupiter, so start planting! This is the time to get things started and to feel the excitement of new possibilities that will unfold in the months and years ahead, with Jupiter adding fuel to your existing hopes and dreams.
