Full Moon Partial Eclipse in Taurus

Halloween weekend will be charged with intensity as the powerful Full Moon Partial Eclipse in Taurus gives you another chance to let go of the past. Eclipses have long-lasting effects, and since it’s in Taurus, things will be shaken up to set you on a new path with shifts around self-worth, stability, money, prosperity and values that you will see and feel during the next 3-6 months, possibly reverberating even for years to come.

Eclipses are course-correctors that are total wild cards, but they’re more remedial in nature. They illuminate what you desire to feel safe, comfortable and well-supported, all which will be challenged during this Eclipse. The challenges might show up as dramatic endings, hard knocks or rude awakening experiences getting you course corrected. They can disrupt and push you out of stagnant, entrenched and old habitual patterns to move you from a position that hasn’t worked out or doesn’t work anymore – one you may not be ready to leave right now. But doing so will re-plant you into what is much more aligned with your life path. Although the path may not be what you imagined, it will get you where you need to be, sometimes before you can even realize that is where you need to be. With time and perspective, you will see how everything works out as it should.

While Full Moons invite you to let go and go with the flow of the Universe, Lunar Eclipses don’t invite you - they tell you. Eclipses are known to throw an accelerant onto situations in your life that need to be changed or removed, whether you are aware of it or not. They are catalysts of doors closing and doors opening reminding you that there are always opportunities to rebuild, but that staying in an unhappy situation generates more distance between you and the life you have always envisioned for yourself.

Even though your impulse is to stay the course, this will be a time where things get shaken up and will require you to be flexible. Events can unfold in unexpected ways and surprises could be gateways to remarkable opportunities. Let go of the need to know why things happen and instead trust that the changes are destined. This Lunar event emphasizes that not all endings are bad, and that some endings are not only needed but welcomed to align you with your life and soul’s purpose.

Passions related to lack and the imbalance of unmet or ignored needs may feel enormously magnified and tender, creating a crisis of sudden awareness. Included will also be emotions swirling around as you suddenly understand your worth or how you truly feel about that job, partner, or elements of your lifestyle.

Thoughts, words, and actions will be strongly influenced by emotions and may be expressed with great intensity. Some may speak or act tactlessly or impulsively, so give yourself time to process whatever has been revealed to you which could include some life-changing realizations. This could create anxiety around relationships, romance and self-worth leaving you tempted to repeat old patterns, but choosing a different reaction could bring unexpected results.

Take things one step at a time.
Find the simple answers to whatever difficult topics are simmering in your life.
If you feel overwhelmed, it’s time to slow down.
If you are unhappy in a relationship, perhaps it’s time to leave.
If you want to travel, it’s time to book those desired destinations.
The dreams or goals that you have neglected or not acknowledged need to be pursued.
Instead of overthinking or overanalyzing, follow your instinct, your intuition, your hopes and dreams.

Overall, this energy will linger for at least the next 3-6 months, and although changes can feel very uncomfortable, once you accept another way of being and nurture your future self by taking control of your personal narrative, you will feel as if you have broken through to where you need to be on your life’s journey.

The Eight of Cups signifies time for change or transition, a reminder to let go and accept what is. To push forward once you have left something behind. And although the future may be uncertain, once you decide to do this, know that it will be worth it.

This Full Moon is the past and present melding through one another to transform the old into something new. It is a period of change creating openings to take a risk or two that will help you to forge a new path forward into the life you desire and deserve. Even if you receive unwanted news or experience unexpected events, know that these are the Universe’s way of giving you a detour that will ultimately be the best course of action for you. Open yourself up to whatever shows up and trust that whatever is landing in your life is doing so at the exact time you need it.
